Donations generated from the GDTC races and programs are distributed in the form of cash, gift cards, and thousands of pounds of nonperishable food to four local service organizations:

Our largest and oldest race is the Turkey Trot. More than 1,200 runners participate each year on Thanksgiving morning and 100% of the profit is donated back to the community. Since 2010 thousands of dollars have been donated by the club from Turkey Trot proceeds. The Greater Derry Track Club would like to thank the sponsors of this event and all participants for their generosity.
